Mandatory Body Contact Clinics
MANDATORY U15 BODY CONTACT CLINICS (2012 players only)
Hockey Calgary offers contact and non-contact in U15 and as part of the registration process all U15 and U18 players will be asked “Does your U15/U18 player want to participate in a body contact division”? Players must declare their choice to play contact or non-contact for the season prior to the start of evaluations.
ALL 2012 birth year U15 players are REQUIRED to complete a body contact clinic regardless of whether they plan to play contact or non-contact. Those players who registered and completed the Glenlake checking clinics (spring 2024) or completed the Calgary Royals body checking clinics as part of the Calgary Royals try out process are not required to attend the Glenlake body checking clinics but may do so if they wish, registration is required.
Registration is required and attendance is required at both ice times. Failure to attend a clinic or miss an ice time in your scheduled clinic will result in your player not being permitted onto the ice for evaluations. Goalies are not required to take these clinics.
Registration for these U15 body checking clinics will open later to be determined, please watch our website and your email for more information as it becomes available.
