COACH Requirements
There are 2 sets of requirements for Coaching, requirements as per Glenlake and the Hockey Canada coaching requirements.
Hockey Alberta is responsible for the training and development of Coaches for the Hockey Canada certifications throughout the province
Glenlake Requirements
These requirements must be met BEFORE being permitted on the ice.

- The Shift Forward: Evolving Hockey Culture – COACH
- Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (VSC)
- Hockey Canada Safety Program (HCSP)
Hockey Canada Requirements
Deadline November 15th
Coach 1 (U7 & U9) – Minimum of 2 coaches per team
In Person – Hockey Alberta Coach 1: Intro to Coach Clinic
Coach 2 (U11 & U18)
In Person – Hockey Alberta Coach 2: Minor Leagues Clinic
Checking (U11 & U18)
In Person – Hockey Alberta – Intro to Principles of Checking Skills Clinic
