The Trails West and Glenlake Hockey Associations have partnered with Hockey Calgary, the Flames Foundation, Flames Alumni, and Adrenalin Sports to offer the Try Hockey Program. This is a fun, relaxed introduction to hockey for new and beginner families.

Program details

  • 8 weekly ice sessions focused on skating, stickhandling, shooting, and basic hockey skills through games and activities.
  • Emphasis on fun, confidence-building, and teamwork.
  • Perfect for families exploring hockey for the first time in a supportive environment.
  • Available for players in U7 to U11 (TBD).

Equipment

Players must wear full CSA-approved hockey equipment. A jersey and socks are provided with registration.
